  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
His gonna be fine flowerhorns are strong, one of mine went 10 rounds with a 22inch jardini and was healed 3 days after(long story), his a great looking one looks like the one at my LFS the owner refuses to sell lol.

Nice to see you have a tronic also! such great heaters.

Maybe stress coat or even a touch of salt to restore slime coat and promote healing. I love api stress coat!

The tilted posture is pretty common among large SA cichlids when under stress. A newly introduced Oscar may appear to be laying on his side as well. Maybe a submissive posture saying he's been through enough crap already. Hope he's still thriving!!

Update:

Hes eating fine... very active... I believe he has gotten used to the location...does not charge at the glass or divider anymore...but always trying to find a way to get through it....swimming up and down etc...

I will be doing a 40% water change now... then will add more salt, prime and stability... to ensure his wounds heal faster...

His 60 gallon tank will come tomorrow... I will add him into that after 24 hours... I will use ONE tray of bio media from my existing filter, and replace that one with a new bio media.

(fluval 405 has 2 trays of bio media...I will only swap with one.... to give the bacteria in his new tank a head jump...and do daily water tests...

Do you think his wounds will have scars? Not sure.
