help please... now!! big pbass spawn! need advice asap!

I wouldnt have changed the tank if they were comfortable where they were and spawning with that arrangement going in and changing everything could disrupt everything. I hope that they spawn again! Good luck and congrats!

i didnt want to either, thats why i waited 3 months, but the gravel was nasty, it needed to be done, or i would be risking there health

so... they havent spawned again since i cleaned the tank, i got my fingers crossed that i didnt screw up something that was working, but like i said it needed to be done bad

the females seems to be beating on the male, dunno what thats about

they really havent showed many signs of spawning again soon, maybe they dont like the way i redid the slate, who knows, i mite stick my hands in there today and tinker around alittle, maybe ill post some pics too, i just dont like photobucket to much

ive been experimenting, with the lighting alot, how much they get, how long, how strong the lighting is, and different types of light, i dont have anything solid yet but i have a few theories, one being that real natural daylight really gets them in the mood vs tank lights or room lights, i have this tank in a diff building and the tank is right by the door so sometimes i will leave the room and tank lights off and just open the door a bit, and they almost always do there circles when i do, actually the third time they bred was when i did this, but i havent been able to get them to do it again so like i said just a theory


ive been messing with a few other variables too such as feeding and temp etc, but i dont want to change to much at once and not know exactly what worked, so im taking it slow, ill update as i tinker
