HELP! Quiet 1 9000

I too took your suggestions, Rally, with QO lol but dont blame you for anything. Actually the 4000's I got are just fine, as well as all the smaller ones too, they just wouldnt flow as much as I wanted. I tried the 6000's and 9000's and they were all to noisey. For the price of two 6000's (or slightly more) you can get a good external that blows them away, literally. Now I lean more toward the Sequence, Pan-World, Iwaki, Velocity lines. I am pretty happy with my Dart.

Did I recomend it? I was recomending them for a while , until I had all the problems. Sorry if I did. The specs on them are awesome, it's just too bad they don't have the durability and quality to back it up.
 
Must be a problem with the larger ones,I have 3 smaller quiet one pumps running,2 for over a year and they are quiet and reliable
 
this is why i like the mag drive pumps levi.... when looking into pumps before somebody at lfs said there quiet one failed.... ive since from reading your posts and others recomended them to people and was considering purchasing one but now ill just stick to mag drives.... its good you were there and didnt loose any of the fish if your tank...
 
Is there a decent submersible pump with 1.5" outlet? Whats the outlet size on a big mag drive?

you can thread on adapters to change there size my mag 24 is a 1" outlet...
 
Thanks for the tips guys. I haven't heard anything from Quiet1 yet.....
