but it might be different, back in the day Ive had where just the eye was injured and it was one eye, yours is both so pry bacterial, but its not the entire eye popping out its like the outer layer is popped out filled with fluid or something. Just read up on it and someone here may chime in with a diagnoses.

Did you add anything new to the tank recently, water tests good, chemicals cleaners or other poisons get in the tank, bad feeders, and so on.
