Im not great with health issues but trapped air would be my 1st assumption.

Over eating Shortbody polys are prone to these kinds of issues. Due to their compact frame to house their internal organs. Therefore, it can affect the swim bladders.
Somebody here will chime in on the dosage per gallon for Epsom salt. I think it just needs a little more time to pass the gas bubbles or food. Once remedied, a change in diet and amount recommended. Although cool to own. SB polys have 'special needs'.

so no need to do the epsom salt thing? so I will not to feed him for a couple of days, thanx I will always put that in mind will change the diet and amount
Hopefully others can chime in. I'm not certain on exact dosage. Most of the info I get is from a Google search.
