looks like someone hit him hard. Clean warm water, hospital tank, melafix, pimafix, salt, and time. He should be fine

WOW-
All the members here and no one is an expert on this section...
i have found this to be a very large problem in this forum as well, all you ever get is well wishers when it comes to serious un common fish diseases.

we really could use somebody who knows there stuff when it comes to this stuff. no point in haveing a help my fish area of the forum, if it's a good luck forum. wish i could help, but no idea. my advice-

melafix/raise temp/ add salt.

Biggest fish in the tank-
He will run off all other's...

Did salt already-Did some good-But not great...

Mela and pima-I'm going to hold off on these for a bit---

Clean water-I would have nothing else in my tanks...

Hospitol tanks-I have-But not established right now due to moveing things around...

One also suggested this could be the work of my gold nugget pleco

Thanks XR-

Want to hold of on meds-
Reason is above post....Plus I dont like meds....

Can't afford to go too high on temps-This is an extremely overcrowded tank....Believe it would cause chaos in their at the moment....Plus my 30+ tire track wont like the jump in temp.....And he is my baby...

DonH has suggested to swab her with betadine for the time being----I truelly trust this mans words.....
