i would buy a rubber maid container 10 g or so, place a piece of slate on side so the turtle can climb out clamp basking light above slate temp should between 80 and 90
depth 3x turtles length
ceej31 10 gallon is to small my turtle are a year at 7"
i suggest a 40g 18" wide
55 only 12 full grow female turtle will have trouble turning around
i think he/she is a little early ,Red Devil;1717184; said:Thank you.. i could ALSO put set up out in sun during the day since we are getting sunny and warmer.. is this the time of year that they hatch..because lately our weather has been warmer then usual but sometimes we can still get snow this time of year..so i am surprised to see him!!!

i would keep the little guy inside
light will cost 30 dollars but it will need it for
winters if you keep him in the pond unless you plane on breeding then it will need to hibronate
im sure he/she willRed Devil;1717212; said:i have the light already used it for my snapping turtle when he was found at a quarter size.. he is three in sept and 12 inches across his shell now,so i know just what to do with that.. i just hope he eats blood worms etc tonight when i try and feed him..
