It's a 110g tank, with very small fish used to cycle a tank. With so much water, the OP would easily catch the ammonia rising close to 0.25ppm.

Its true and im aware of that... But at this moment what i have is time, i dont have any worrys to have the tank cycled fast... Because simple fact i didnt decided what im gona put there..... Exemple if i decide to get an 1inch Oscar fry , i bet the bioload aded to the tank its gona be the same or less them all the fish i have there atm.

Problem is the some people support cycle with fish others fish less...

Its OK if the Danios survive i use them to Feed my new fish? See, some people support live feeding others dont...

And why not if i have them available?

Im using JBL proscan... Its a stripe test, and you use an APP on your smartphone to read the stripe trough the phone camera.
The JBL kit looks very interesting, I may have to order one for those times I don't want to play with test tubes and shake bottles.

I think you've got the right idea.

Have you decided on your fish?

Have you decided on your fish?

Not yet, its the most hard decision for me at the moment.

I want to make sure the choise its gona be the one i really want...

Its a big commitment.. I dont want choose a fish with i can loose interest and had to keep him for years just for a bad decision...

At this moment the more i read about what people indicate, im thinking i will need about 10 tanks..

If you want a puppy dog who will entertain being greedy with bugs and feeders get an oscar, if you want outright beauty get a vieja, if you want a maniac that wants to bite you get an amphilophus:-)

What are the important qualities youre looking for in your fish? Beauty? attitude? intelligence? Mix of these?

I know what you mean by wanting a lot of tanks. I have several single specimen tanks myself.

I think vieja synspilum would really work well in that tank. You have enough room for a pair if you want, and they are more tolerant of tankmates than a lot of the other central american cichlids. Its good to have those options when you get bored.

I have a male wc rapps rio orinocco oscar my 300g SA community and I absolutely love him.
I have a male red isletas amphilophus citrinellus in my 90g, he is very entertaining, chasing up the tank and trying to bite me.
A quality synspilium is an amazing fish too, you need to see one before you buy tho, good ones have amazing colour at 4", poor ones never get 10% as nice as a good one imo.
