Help Stocking a 65?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
His tank look pretty new, the fish don’t look to be adults, and he doesn’t have other fish in the tank with them. It also don’t say how big his tank is.

If that’s the harmoney you want in your tank why not just stick to one type of fish? And get all Bolivian rams?

Bolivian rams get a little bit bigger than German blues, if you don’t want breeding you could always get them all in the same sex to avoid extra

I do not plan to raise the fry but I would like to see the same behavior in the tank linked above. The angels are expensive and also really large and don't think that five would look good a tank of this size, unless they shoaled.

I would have done that but on account that the tank is being put in my living room a *large* fish would be needed and angelfish were chosen as the centerpiece. So no to 6 rams? Also, have dividers if tank gets too hectic during breeding.

Angels do t school very well.

I have a 60g tank with 6 angels and I have been waiting for them to pair off now for over a year...nodda...but they do constantly spar with each other and rip each other fins. I really need to re-home two of them but I’m afraid I’ll re-home a female haha if I even have a female

you could do a single angel, and your rams with your chosen tetras

You could def always try it, monitor you water and aggression and re-home as needed! No hurt in trying

Single angel wouldn't work even if i wanted it to, this tank is as much my mothers as it is mine. Hopefully, I can have 2 female angels or maybe a pair but i won't be raising any fry sadly.
SO 2 angels 2 pairs of rams and 12 rummy nose?
Surely the tiny 4ft length should be enough territory to split amongst each pair?
