here you say nitrIte! so which is it you are testing? NITRITES should be 0 while NITRATES will not be zero

I was performing nitrites test, and in my manual it indicated 8 drops...link me to where it says to add 10 drops, It does not say that on my API master test kit

Do your NITRATES, not nitrites...and DO 10 drops, not 8...because if you do NITRATE TEST, then it probably says 10. If not, do 10 anyways.


You do understand english & comprehension and what everyone above is typing to you, right? Because if you do, id swear you can search on here (or GOOGLE) about nitrate levels and see that 0 nitrates is damn near impossible and usually means something else is off...or wrong.
