once the wild flourishes with these species and have a scientist document everything, then it will pass the US law.

no it means they aren't. if they were doing good in the wild and are massively producing in the wild,it would have been ammended through ESA/Lacey and be in your tank.

US will never get the asian. As you can already notice, all the other country has it and pretty much abusing them. Owners would cram 5-7 in small tanks and most end up dying. When they are in tanks, 90% of them would be dead within couple of years and their chance of breeding in tanks is basically 0% for private owners.

I can guarantee you that the US is keeping record of that too. The loss of life is greater with private owners. I look forward to see other fish to be on the ban list too. Time to end the suffering.

very true...people do cram in 5-7 asians in one tank...just to have a show tank...which in the end the aros suffer from lack of space and eventually die. every aro going into the aquaria trade will die on the owner whether from aging or suffering. it does not help 1% towards the revival of its endangered state
