It's a darn shame.
I mean, here in the Philippines, the only fish that I know of as banned are Piranha.
Hope legalization of the Asian Aros comes soon, otherwise, more and more people are going to end up visiting black markets which would make for a considerably shaky legal situation.

some people say that if ban for asian arowanas was lifted in the US would help them relieve the pressure on wild caught asian arowanas? i think it would be the opposite, because some people say they would 2 or more right away, with numbers of hobbyists in the US i think the asian farms can meet the demand of the US aquatic hobbyists.
Gold, Red, Green, Banjar, RTG, and Crossbacks are only a few examples of the Asian Arowana. There are a number of other strains besides these and certain farms have their own specialty strain.
