Well, I'm thinking since he looks good and thick and healthy, that you should stop feeding the feeders, and only offer a good pellet. Something on the lines of Hikari Cichlid Gold or Omega One. If he doesn't eat it, so be it. He will when he gets hungry. Might take a couple weeks but he will convert. It is very important to eliminate the feeders since they can introduce so many pathogens to your fish.

I have con feeders that I raised but,they just don't grow fast enough.
I have tried pellets.the fish don't even taste them.
It will get hungry ,In time

'Popeye' is a gram negative bacteria infection, besides Penicillin, you can also treat with Maracyn-Two or Tetracycline. On the downside, the antibiotics will kill off the BB in your filter.

I did medicate the fish.
I moved it's tank and cleaned tank.
Now couple weeks later.
I was still think that big belly was eggs.
Well introduced the RD to another,I thought was male.WRONG
Both female didn't get along of course and seperated.
Both RDs laided eggs!
1 the same day the other 2 days later.
This fish was FULL of eggs !
Laid a easy 1000 eggs !
Well I know the sexes for sure BUT NOW
I NEED A MALE ! (I am married,no jokes please)

The fish is looking OK now.
