it was never unstable since the first day i got it.... what had happened was this

i dont think he's stressed or anything either...

they have been there for about a week now... i did a 20 gallon water change last night and this morning... the tank is a 240... i didnt have time to do a larger tank... had to go to class... still at school now so cant move them yet...

I agree with these guys, I would say there was a small fight when you were sleeping so that guy doesnt feel to secure atm...

do you have any hiding spots in your tank?

That is a pretty diverse mix of fish you have there, I would recommend that you sort that out as it can be part of the problem as well...
 
yea very diverse... the 125 sprung a leak so i dumped the contents into the 240 for about a week so far.... now i just finished repairing the 125 and about to cycle it soon so its going to be like another week or 2 so its just for temporary

I agree, I was just telling him why it might be unstable...:naughty:
 
he's been in the same water parameters for 2 weeks and today he's changed.... i recheked all the things in my kit and all were the same from 2 weeks ago... and i also did small water changes and checked after the water changes and it was still the same...

the other thing he's been doing was swimming against the current from the pump... what a weirdo... so thats what makes me think his face is messed up...
 
has it had any new tankmates in the 2 weeks?

N e flucuations inbetween that time by chance...

I dont see them very compatible with your tank mates-

I bet it's just unstable becuase of the tank mates it is housed with...
