Help!! Whats wrong with my dat?

yea had about 20 new mates in 2 weeks so the amonia jumped.... i just finished a 50% water change and lost a bala shark but within the forst week adn the second week it was perfect looking now it looks like crap and the eyes are a little cloudy

Just give it time-And get things worked like you say-----
when things back to normal standards---Should color back up-----


I just transfered a dat a month ago now into a tank all of his own-100% stable silver dat before the move----

Still looks 50% unstable....Just takes some time I guess...

i'm just afraid that it was going to be permanent or the beginning of the dreaded datnoid disease

That happens to my fish from time to time but it usally just goes away in a day or two.

as that is where I was going with the question...

as AK said once everything is stable again then he should go back to normal, and keep up on good water conditions and the cloud eye will clear up....

it does look like its colour has become unstable and like others have said its probably due to the changes it has had.

when i see it unstable its usually one sold color not like this... its so weird... and ugly... i rather it be dark or pale... not spratic like this

add some salt to the take and see if he changes back.it just looks like its just stress.

i get mixed reviews on salt added or not added... which is it? i normally add it but others say not to...its confusing
