Help with a background

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
spraypaint works good i havent tried rolling the paint on with a paint roller but thats my next plan. i usually use flat black paint

I have black felt on a 110g before. It doesn't reflect any light back and is about as black as you can get. I used tape to hold it on but the tape has to be replaced periodically.

I put my plastic background on just like window tint. Just spray the solutuion on the glass and squeegee the bubbles out looks great.

I think post #12 in that thread is brilliant :D

Some of my tanks have black trash bags as background. Subtle. Simple. Stylish.

I actually put backgrounds INSIDE the tank. When the tank is empty and dry just put a thin layer of aquarium silicon down and press the background against it. It looks much better than a background on the outside, the colors really pop.

I would make a DIY back ground insted of painting if I could.
