over stocking will help, but too many and you are not better than before. It is a happy medium. Removing a dominate fish will make another fish the dominate one, but that does not mean it will make it worse. I have removed the dominate and a new one will rise. Also taken one out and totally chilled a tank. Each case is different. Comparing the affect of a SA/CA to an african is not a great idea.
