I don't know what kind of Gourami's you have but I wouldn't recommend two red devils for that tank. If you are going to go with a drip system it could possibly work with a lot of fish just for the fact that there would be so many fish to diffuse the aggression. But without a drip you are either looking at way too large of a bioload or a mass murder from your more aggressive fish.

well the gouramis are nothing special just came with my neighbors tank when they moved. and i was wondering would 1 RD work?

mmm maybe try some firmouths and salvini's. If you need more fish maybe try some Jewel cichlids, they are african but work well with the others. All are aggressive I wouldn't be surprised if your gouramis end up dead though. If you go smaller and provide lots of territories I think you should have a decent chance of having a FULL tank with few casualties

well hopefully sometime this week ill make another trip to big als with friends when they get feedesr, and ill get a list of the cichlids they have and report back here maybe that will help my decisions just a little more but i know for sure i want firemouths and jd's =P do yo know of any good combos to go with?

I would do
x1 oscar
x1 Jack dempsy
x1 savani
x3tinfoil barbs
Some on on a diffrent site has that combo maybe 1 more oscar in a 125 and it works great!

uhh well the post thing seems to be posting multiple times, but today i went to big als and decided a school of silver dollars (4-5) costing $3- $6 each then 2 Nicaraquenses cichlids 4.99 each. 4 clown loached 7.99 each and 5 jurapari cichlids for 9.99 each. I got the 4 loaches and 2 nicaraquenses cichlids today they are like 3" maybe 4". so now i have to save up for the jurapari's mainly since hte silver dollars arent so expensive. does anywhere know of a site or place cheaper to get the jura's?
