To many pages so didnt read past the first post...
Do you have a sump? If so, put them in there.

Also, you are planning on doing water changes on the 11gl tanks (if u go that route) with used water? That dont sit right with me. I would just use tap (depending on your city water source) or fill something up with tap water and let it sit (ie: the 30gl you will be using when they are bigger) and use that water for water changes.

I like the sump because it has active water (giving your fish a 24/7 work out) and it should be very clean for babys. My sump is a standard 60gl and half is a sump (bio balls/ceramic rings blah blah) and the rest of it is just free water (maybe 30 glns worth) just as a grow out tank. If u want a pic, ill post one for you later tonight.

just my 2cents :D

Just seen the pics after I posted... They look nice and fat ;)

I have no sump m8, they are in the 11g tank, im doin water change everyday with used water from the big tank. The water from my biggest tank is very good due 2 the filtration in it, i've done it this way many times before with other juveniles so i know that it works :)

But what u are recomending is by far the best thing 2 do so very good info m8.

Thing is that they grew alot faster than i first anticipated. I'm gonna put them in the 30g tank after 1-2days from now so its all good :)

What im fighting with now is 2 make em eat diff food. They love chrimp but i want them to eat more fish and pellets, im putting small peaces of pellet in the chrimp for the moment and i feel that they are 2 small 2 starve a couple of days so they will eat pure pellet.

It would be great if u post a pic of it, maybe i'll do it your way in the future :)

a semi short bodied piece to me. pump him up and he'll look SB-ish. :)

Yea thats it man, semi short body :D or its just a regular endli time will tell. My hopes are that its a highback, its awsome when they look that way but we will see :)

yea im doin that for the moment feeding them 2-3 times a day :D

Polys are fairly open to many diff foods.
Try this to get them on the pellets u want...

Get one small pc of shrimp n put it in a small cup (like a shot glass). Add the pellets n put water in it. Let it sit over night n feed only the pellets.

This should work right away since polys r open to a variety of foods :D

Cool, i knew that you could do this with bloodworms but i didn't know that it works with shrimp 2. Will try this, thx m8.

Btw. I want 2 place the juveniles in the 30g but im still not sure about it. The size diff between them and the delhezi is still big.

The juveniles : 3.9 - 4.7" (10-12cm)
The delhezi's : 5.9" (15cm)

the big diff is that the delz are wider, like 3 times wider than the juveniles.. So what do u guys think, is it a risk or should it work without a prob ?

Never mind my last post, they are in the 30G now, been there for 5-6hours and it seems 2 go smooth :)
