I noticed that prazipro says that one treatment lasts 6-7days... does that sound correct???

Update, still medicating. showing improvement every day now. looks like he should be good. when should I do a water change? i started meds saturday melafix says add daily for seven days. prazipro says 1 treatment for seven days.

Wait untill the seven days are up, hopefully you did a couple of large W/Cs prior to medicating.

I did a little more then 50% prior to medicating... the water is starting to get pretty cloudy, If i test will the meds interfere with the results?? ie: will water test still be accurate?

just tested the water and amm reads about .7 or so i am doing a water change now...

ok, so i have done a water change and tested water....
ph7.4, amm 0, nitrate 5ppm, nitrite.25( they are usually @ 0 ) what could have brought this up??
I also added a AC110 last week to give it more filtration. so i have an eheim 2028 and a AC110. I think that this is definately enough filtration for the tank. what could be the reason for the spike in nitrites??

two days ago you had a rise in ammonia, this then leads to a rise in nitrites.
