ur wrong.

since nitrites(NO2) come before ur nitrates(NO3) in the cycle. someone who is just starting the cycle will have nitrite(NO2) at some point but no nitrate(NO3), because the bacteria have not converted nitrite(NO2) into nitrate(NO3) yet.

NH3 -----> NO2 -----> NO3

OR

Ammonia -----> Nitrite -----> Nitrate

does that make seance to u?

ok well i have to find nitrite test somewhere how do u correct nitrites?

if you cant find a NO2 test kit locally then order one online. do a search on Google to find an appropriate retailer.

bacteria will convert NO2 into NO3 naturally. it will correct its self over time, its called cycling. water changes and/or chemicals will also reduce NO2 as well, none of that is necessary.

however, you do water changes to remove NO3. since its the end bi-product of the nitrogen cycle.

ill see if i can find one tom
so bascally im waiting this out? is my bioload to much

ok here we go tested water 10 min ago-
ammonia-0ppm
ph-7.0
nitrite-0ppm
nitrate-about 30ppm
carbonate hardness-0ppm
general hardness-30ppm

Kh is kinda low. Maybe causing ph instability. Other then that looks good. Maybe get kh to 2. Could try a uv

are the nitrates high?
