More good news. Yesterday a gentleman from Transition Projects came over to have me sign an application for my new apartment. It's a two year program where they pay most of your rent for two years while waiting for the section 8 housing voucher to work It's way thru all the red tape. I will pay 28% of the rent plus another 75 for a parking space.
The bad news, they have fish tank size limits.....
The guy said it takes about a month for this to go through, so this time next month I should be in my new apartment. Also good news, they have several sources for new furniture, scratched and dented floor models etc we get for free. To include things like dishes, pots and pans etc.
