HELP WITH ID-ing A FEW CORALS AND A LOBSTER.....

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Your lighting is not sufficient.

Your SG is a bit low @ 1.023, I would strive for 1.026

You should have 0 ammonia, nitrite and close to 0 nitrate, alk should be 9-12 dkH, magnesium ~1300ppm.

HTH in perking those corals up, the red one looks like you dropped it a couple times and the skeleton cut through the flesh... ouch!... Should recover though.

It is not NECESSARY to feed them, since they are photosynthetic and all, but they will grow and recover faster if you do.

i have a 18 watt Coral Life light. it has 2 bulbs. one 9watt 10,000k bulb and one 9watt antinic blue bulb. i have 72 watts in the tank now (one 36watt 10,000k and one 36watt antinic blue). so with the new light i would have 90 watts. is that better? the little light has no fan fan though, and it can get soooooo hot!!!! the hood on the BIO CUBE has a perfect sized area to add the 18 watt little fixture. any ideas on the heat issue? that thing puts off HEAT....

what does HTH mean? and that one that looks like the skeleton is showing... its like that because it is literally shrinking!!!!! :( what can i do to stop its slow shrinking?
