Help with New Payara

its a cynodon gibbus.
theyre always looking skinny.
and they eat very little as well.
they are extremely picky about their surroundings and small spaces cause them to freak out and not eat.
not very easy fish to keep.

i had one and he was with pbass,aros and a softshell turtle he survived for almost five mounths before my old softshell ate him

how different is it from the sabertooth payara? and does it also develop the 2 long fangs?

its not an armatus and none of them eat virtually anything.

edit:just saw the pic of the armatus. sorry.
but no,they do not eat virtually anything.

yes it has the fangs but not as big as its cousins...

they need a very calm and large tank.

yes,they get the fangs and like vamp said,just not as big.
they are in the same family as hydrolycus but just a different genus.
