help with picking new filter

i'd get a ehiem 2215 ive got one on my 55 its sick i also have a fluval 3+ for Mech that gets blocked fairly often but i spose its doing its job anyways you cant beat an eheim foe quality

ya ive taken the cheap route before and it didnt work...what about eheim's though i recently found an ehiem 2217. any reviews on those. any good compared to fluval its says they have about the same flowrate? thanks for all the help

id only use a cascade internal filter if you have no way to use a hob or canister.

i agree. fx5 FW. thats the one to get right there. but its kind of overkill for a 55. lol
