Hello; A couple of points about buying a used tank. First is that it be clean. I bought one in dirty condition and after I cleaned it up discovered the glass was scratched badly. We are allowed to get a 55 but I think I am going to stretch it to 75/150 because there are a bunch on Craigslist...
While seeing a tank full of water is good in terms of checking leaks, my guess is most will be empty. You should plan to set it up in a place to check for leaks before filling it inside.
Hello; May I suggest you consider the smaller tanks if money is tight. A bigger tank generally costs more and the equipment to set it up can be more. Operating cost can be more.he will barely afford the tank.
