help with sexing my texas cichlids

from how tey look, your regular texas is a female, your 2 red texas are males.

can red texas have red eyes? is it true only black ones fad to be verry bright? i have a few im "growing out", only one seems to have any real potential based on what ive been told or have red. most are somewhat pale with pearls. any chance they will fade to red/orange? most are in 2" size. let me try and get some pics up
