3X1X1.5 is this in meters? keeping a pair of green terror should be fine alone. one thing to always keep in mind when keeping pairs in their own tank, have a divider ready especially when the male becomes ready to breed when the female is not. If the measurements you gave are in meters, the tank is sufficient size for them. If you plan to keep several breeding pairs in that tank, you will have a ton of problems with aggression and most likely will have several dead fishes once frys appears. Also, the least dominant pair will not breed and will most likely be picked on or killed by the other pairs. Good luck in finding your fish!

Im guessing 6x2x2 is ft and thats a 125.

If all those fish you are wanting to get are juveniles under 2 inches, you can get them all. Over the next 6 months-year, just keep an eye on them and start weeding out either the most aggressive or the ones getting beat up.

I think everyones response to you is "AT FULL GROWN SIZE", not at 2 inches. Youll get that a lot on here, people trying to help you with problems you arent going to have for another 6-18 months. Besides, its cool to see the interaction in the different species juvies with others challenging them, as long as no harm is done.

Hell, if you like all those, get 6 of each and sell them off as they grow and start fighting. They cant do much damage as 2 inch juvies, especially if you check them everyday for split fins etc. This way, you can see their characteristics and decide which ones you like best.

Good Luck!

IMO, you'll really enjoy SA/CA cichlids. They are definitely my favorite groups of fish. If you want to try a tank with different species and colors long term, you may want to look into some of the more peaceful cichlids that are still quite personable. You could look into Oscars, Severums, Geophagus, EBJD's, Firemouth, Nicaraguense, Convicts, Blue Acaras, etc. All are very personable fish and territorial for the most part, but they are not as likely to kill eachother when they reach adulthood. I would pick a few species that you like, get them young and grow them up together, and try for all males or all females so that nothing pairs. Breeding pairs always escalate the aggression of a tank.
