$25 for a baby silver? That's expensive. I can have baby silver for $6, but I'm from the Philippines. Fish are cheap here. For the tank I suggest that you get a 75g tank which can house the silver for about 1-2 years to prevent stressing the fish.

I think one year yes, two years though? Most all silver aros are 24" long within 2 years, a 75g tank is nonsense.

That will be fine, just make sure you ungrade while you still can get the aro through the opening. If not you'll just have to break the bowl to get it out
