I think my roommate is going to kill me. He's already grabbed me by the throat and thrown me against the wall, thrown shoes and knives at me, and now he has a 20lbs steel slab that he just threatened to throw at me next time he's in a bad mood. Can anyone help me?!?!
 
they make these wonderful devices called firearms. pick one up at your local wal mart. and tell him you mean buisiness.
 
Make sure you have something ready.. a weapon of some sort to get ready to fight back.. like charlet said, he has to unfortunately hit you first so you can accuse the deed
 
sounds like the next time he tries anything Mr. Anger Issues needs the cops to make a visit..

why dont you just request to move out and tell them what hes doing? that makes sense to me...
 
I'm getting a roommate change for next semester, I'm just hoping I survive that far.
 
Don't call the cops like everyone said cause in the real world cops don't show up right away. Takes them like 30-45mins. So if he threatens you again grab a blunt object and tell him if he don't lay off you'll go swingin.

you could always call them and say he has a gun and he has threatened to use it, then they HAVE to come as fast as possible..

i would not in any way take this into your own hands, the way this world is today, you'll both end up in jail. you can file an order of protection against him, that way if he ever comes near you, he gets arrested. you can get him for aggravated assault and assault with a deadly weapon..cops may throw in a few more charges also.

just don't do something stupid that gets you in trouble, next time something happens, get the cops there and handle it that way.
