Go to your local police dept. and file a complaint against him. The next time he assults you and then you call the cops, the effect will be much greater. Also this will help in proving your self defense case if you should end up in a physical conflict.

umm why not just tell the school? They will nip it in the bud right away. Tell the floor supervisor or anyone in charge at the college - they will help you.
Shooting him will only land you in jail - same with beating him no matter how gratifying it will be.....

I agree if this is at school then file a complaint, you gotta get this onto record incase it is escalated.

1. Dial 911, and set the phone down. The cops will get there real fast.
2. File battery charges with the police.
3. Be honest with the police and let them know you fear for your life. They won't allow him to stay there that night.
4. File for a domestic violence injunction that prevents him from staying at your residence or coming within a certain distance from you. Given his actions and statements, you will prevail.

you could always call them and say he has a gun and he has threatened to use it, then they HAVE to come as fast as possible..

i would not in any way take this into your own hands, the way this world is today, you'll both end up in jail. you can file an order of protection against him, that way if he ever comes near you, he gets arrested. you can get him for aggravated assault and assault with a deadly weapon..cops may throw in a few more charges also.

just don't do something stupid that gets you in trouble, next time something happens, get the cops there and handle it that way.

I agree tell someone though. Actually two people, the school and the police. Tell the school he has anger issues and has threatened you with violence that could result in serious injury/death. Then tell them it would hit the papers big if it ever happened. No school dean wants bad publicity.

yeah, whatever you do, DO SOMETHING. dont just wait. i would go talk to the school, then call the police and get a restraint and have him removed..

with anger issues, the next time he goes to strangle/hit you he may just go too far..

Thanks guys. As soon as my RA gets back I'm bringing the metal slab by. I would definitely get thrown in jail if I used physical force, my hands are lethal weapons, so I'd most likely end up in more trouble. Campus police are quick to respond, thank god!!!
