HELP!!!

Welp she has eaten now by the hand feeding so now hopefully it is just a matter of time before she eats on her own.:headbang2 And as for the syringe technique I have used it on several rescues before and it just depended on the individual herp some freaked out and some loved it. So with that I believe you just have to give it a try and see how they handle since you dont want to make them overly stressed.
 
thats great news! you will have a monster in no time.

also im willing to bet he will calm down alot faster and better than other iggs. resuced one for the most part tend to really enjoy interaction. mine lives for it. he was a rescue and ive enjoyed every minute ive had him.

Hmmm that is weird. I would have expected the exact opposite to occur but that is some awesome news to hear.
 
they tend to know when you are helping them. they arent as dumb as people make them out to be. mine was pretty nasty at the foster home he was in. but as soon as he got back to my house he calmed right down, for my dad and myself that is, and he is still calm to this day. ive also read of alot of people who adopt them out having theres calm right down.

and the fact that your is already eating from you hand is a great sign.

If your going with the seringe (wich I see no need to) be really carefull as the jaws are still very fragile;)

Nope there has been no need to use the syringe yet she is eating out of my hand and on her own often now.:)

I know I was stoked when I saw him eating on his own for the first time. And it is really awesome to not have to hand feed him throughout the day.
 
After giving a few iodine baths and using antibiotic ointment his toes are starting to look alot better no more discharge coming from it so if this little guy is lucky he may end with out losing a singe toe. And these past few days he has been pounding down his greens. I would have never thought a lizard that small could eat so much.
