yeah man, i lost too may fish in such a short time. im not feeling sorry for myself...i just dont want to restock the tank and have another problem. And i dont feel like waiting...

Vass69 you stated in the begining it was a white film that was sluffing off the fish. Sounds more of a fungus than ICH to me. fish diseases suck.

you may need to treat the whole tank since it could be something on the rocks. Also are there any fluctuations in your water temp that would cause stress on the fish. I know my tanks usually run in the 78-80 range.

How are the fish looking since they have been in a QT tank?

ich usually doesnt kill like that....

a qt tank prolly made this situation alot better.... i neeed to set one up. i feel really bad for you. you shoulda qt'ed that lion longer

I agree Nubz, Something other than ICH. I feel for Vass69 too. When I started I said QT tank - hahaha. Yeah there one up and running now, just a little 10 gallon in the diningroom.

yeah in probably a 24 hr span whatever it was that had done this had killed 6 out of 8 fish, with only my six line wrasse and yellow watchman goby surviving...

i have a buyer for the remainder of my things so looks like ill just be keeping my mantis tank and returning to the freshwater tank.
