help my armored bichir got a hole under his head near his gills and is floating near the top of the water plz help me i dont knoe wat 2 do

The #1 best medicine for a sick fish is always super super clean water.

Is this an injury or an illness?

When was the last time you cleaned the water? Nitrates?

What are you feeding him?

Holes under the jaw near the gills is sometimes indicative of a bichir literally "biting off more than it can chew." If the piece of food was too massive go down all the way, and too massive to hurl back up, it can cause injuries like the one you are describing.

For right now keep your water as clean as you can, the last thing you want is for an infection to take place.

i havn't done a water change in a while cuz i was to focused on school but i will hope its not infected and it also looks like his butt hole is bleeding?

... I honestly don't know what happened. He may have swallowed some gravel. Do you have gravel?

Water parameters is a must right now... If your water is fine we can move on, but I need to know what your readings are.

How long is a while?
Just because you are busy with school doesnt mean you can forget your fish!
Do you think the rest of us sit round all day waiting to do a water change?
Sorry for the rant,BUT!

Do a water change then maybe add some aquarium salt at the recommended dose or half it and up the temp a bit,and keep doing the wc ALL the time please.
Good luck

i have no gravel its bb and i raised the temp and added chem
you added chem? What is "chem?" A little punctuation and capitalization would be grand... I have no idea what "its bb" means.

Please, if you want help, learn to write in such a way as to allow communication. What you have stated here makes no sense at all.

What are your nitrates?

If they are really high because you haven't been doing water changes you can't just go do a major change. If they are not THAT high you need to do major water changes. We cannot instruct you on how to help your fish until you answer the question. Please tell us the water parameters.

No need to be rude.

He's simply saying instead of gravel or sand, his tank is Bare Bottom.

This is the main focus right now, along with telling me what you are feeding him.
