My flowerhorn seems to be on the verge of death. He has been acting fine but hasn’t eaten for a week. I thought he would come around. Water quality is fine. I came in today and he has black marks on him which weren’t there before and is lying in the bottom breathing fast. If there is anything I can do to cure please help!!!

Could be constipation, try Epsom salt.

How old is he?

4 and a half is good going for a FH. Alot don't live past 3..
You have a few options, you could dose with maracyn 1 and 2 incase it is a hidden bacterial infection.
You could hit the tank with a big dose of aquarium salt and force feed him a solution of empsom salt like Andy did, I don't know the exact dose.
Force feed a few peas.
If he gets really bad it might be best to euthanise.
His tank is fine yes? Heater on, nothing shorting out and electrifying the water.
I would do a 100% WC with temperature matched declorinated water just in case some cleaning products got in the tank.

Ph ok? Hasn't crashed?
Ammonia readings?
