hemichromis frempongi vs fasciatus?

I have frempongi so they are not as bad as the others from what people say in a 120 with a jag, red dvil, texas, red tail baracuda, tilapia butt

most of these cichlids were gotten as fry from the place i work and grown out and survived so i am probably going to sell them or well most of them and keep my frempongi and try to breed them but th frempongi are more colorful than the fasci and less aggressive they dont get 12 inches either they get around 10 or 11 inches they are the second largest of the hemicromis genus? Next to guinea 2 i think? NOt many people talk about this.

so far mine are not that aggresive but they are starting to lash back at my devils i have a black devil with big lips thats just nasty as hell but the one is pushing back at the devil a lot. ALl my cichlids are less than 5 inches 4 inch is the biggest probably the jaguar. I work at big als sometimes they get hundreds of small baby tilapia butt or dovii or jags and ill take a few home grow them out then sell them.

I personally think H. Frempongi would be better fit. Not only are they super rare, nobody that I know of has these in the US breeding so there is no supply. H. Fasciatus, well, there's a few of us so they are available provided we ship.
If you're looking for a fish that will kick the heck outta other fish, H. Fasciatus is the way to go. Make sure you have spare tanks, dividers and, try not to be upset if they kill a prized fish of yours.

While H. Fasciatus has been my greatest fish, there's also downsides to keeping them as well. I mean, my female hasn't had a male for I don't know how long. 4 out of my 6 tanks are separated with WC. H. Fascitus back up females. Very awesome fish but also very stressful as well. I've had to wake up multiple times at 2-4am because I hear splashing and male is whooping up on female.
I wouldn't never trade my experice with my Fasciatus, I will never give them up. Just letting you know, they can destroy some of your best fish and it sucks when that happens (my F1 Festae female that was paired)...
I've only kept them this long because there is someone home at all hours of the day. I've had my brothers GF call me and ask what to do. Had her divide the tanks lol.

Fish is awesome. You'll stress a ton about them, worth it to me.

Just a heads up, you may end up with 1 fish in your tank.

120 is a great size! You'll be one of a few that has a pair of these.
You can walk into any store or a friends house and see a RD, dovii, jag, umbee and all the other cool American cichlids. How many times have you seen a pair of Hemichromis Frempongi?
