Thanks db that was well said thank u. As far as blackworms go they aren't to crazy for them they love the ghost shrimp so to help them pack on weight I am actually picking up 1000 now and will keep them up with these for now and then either binox or prazi after a week or so and nice scheduled water changes. As far as the rocks and wood my tank is 4x4x2 square they have more then enough room to roam im not new to the block have had rays for a very long time with my largest group of 20 at amy given time. But I hear and do respect everyones opinion I will keep you all updated. In turn it will just make me appreciate my rays more after I have nursed them back to normal.:)

All i know is that i would never embarass myself like that by sending out a ray that skinny. We all know it only takes a few weeks of good feeding to put some weight on a ray.

Nothing but fat and healthy rays comming out of my tanks, and these rays are clearly neither

I am hopeful that they will be in good shape sooner or later I am how ever going to be doing prazi starting tonight with a good water change they all are eating not as well as I want them to but there are good signs here of active movement and hunting for food so my hopes are up. It is sad to see rays like this but I don't blame the seller its the catchers and exporters who are to blame for all of this I to do not appreciate that they are handled wrongly and or caught by using the fish hook method but again this is what we go through when we do wild caught . My Ray purchasing is not done with Shawn as of yet and neither will it be with other sellers but whos to say we couldn't buy a nice fat healthy looking ray CB and still have a problem it just happens need to take it with a grain of salt and just relax and keep it simple .

Personally I would wait a little and let them get settled and eating OK for at least a few days before treating with meds. They are already stressed and the meds will stress them more.

I truly wish you well in getting them fat and healthy. They all look like they have nice potential. GL

Thanks for the suggestion will do Its nice to see there are so many people who care here

In the end most of us just care about the rays and their health. Opinions vary widely on vendors and private sellers, some state them openly and some behind the scenes.

Since you want to medicate, how do you know what you are medicating? What if there is nothing wrong, they are only skinny for obvious reasons, and you are putting the rays through a stressfactor they need the least? I dont wanna be the "i know better" type, so the questions are only for you to answere for yourselfe..

I just wanna put out a word for the vendors, i can only talk for myselfe in this case. When i have had to do with a vendor that offers to import rays for me, there has bin sertan ways around this. 1. The vendor was never intrested in actually having the rays for quarantine. 2. The vendor dont know jack about rays, so i had to pick em up the same day as they got them. 3. its on your own risk. 4. I knew all of this, so it was ok! (if they arrived dead offcourse no payment)

well no one knows really but without a doubt almost all WC rays have parasites . Prazi or Binox usually with one doze works best with good water changes lets just end this all please this thread was not intended to bash or say this and that Im tired of it all please refrain yourselves from who knows what and this and that instead keep your negative opinions to yourselves please thanks I am experienced and will do my best as any other Ray keeper here . Will post updates of their progression and if there is an issue I will deff ask away thanks all for your concerns .

you dont have to be..i am embarrassed for you..i like how you slam a ray seller when you have no clue and then self promote yourself...very classy.
why dont you re-read what DB wrote. you might learn something...
