Thanks for sharing, steve_89!My fellow was about 20cm and I fed him on feeders, pellets and beefheart.
I forget how much I got my guy for as it was a long time ago. (When I just started in hobby) and I kept them with some gudgeons.
As for the parasites, I have no idea sorry.
I think the max size obtained in aquaria would be somewhere around 30cm, maybe a little bigger. 30cm is considered big for this specie of grunter. Compared to other grunters they are small.
Unfortunaly my guy died from a bad batch of feeders
