here is my new 75 gallon with hearttailed flowerhorn

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It was cut. This is a common practice with Blood Parrots too. I don't see any harm in you buying it from someone who wanted to get rid of it. It looks like you gave it a nice home. People just don't support the buying of dyed or cut fish from the LFS for obvious reasons.

well i never said my lfs had this fish
first of all
second it was dropped off at my tattoo shop where in my town im the monster fish keeper and i showed up to work and it was in my tank........does that explain why i have the fish
and i dont understand your coment creepy old guy
if you keep these fish or any fish .....you are as guilty as i am for keeping fish ...wich i love doing...and so do you
i put this on here to get help on plants
anyone here want to talk about how i plant my tank
or should we argue about how my fish looks or where i got it and how you feel about that?
please any suggestions on plants

ok, sorry for assuming that you bought this fish, i guess i was going off what someone said about lfs keeping them in the hobby. my point about keeping fish because i love the hobby and i love beautiful fish. your fish however, is not beautiful. and i thouht i remember reading in a prior thread of yours that you had another 90g tank laying around that you set up specifically for this fish. now in this thread, you say someone just dropped it in the tank for you.

well i did have him in a 90 gallon tank wich i did not specificaly set up for him and never said i did

if you look at my albums he was in my oscar tank at my tattoo shop

some research would be nice before you make asumptions about my habiits please
your opinion on the fish and how it looks dont bother me

im picking up a male to breeed with her tomorow and im paying for this one

please do your research before caliing me out on facts i created

once again this is alot of fun but can you tell me about what plants would be good with this breed

I wouldn't waste tim or money planting a tank with a fh. They dig waaay too much. I have a hard time keeping large ornaments upright!

That is completely subjective. Who r u to say what is beautiful and not beautiful? Like he said, its beautiful in its own special way. I think cuttting the tail is cruel but its over and there's nothing we can do to undo it. And there's more than just beauty to of the fish hobby.

If you can get an egg crate and set it on top of a small layer of gravel with more gravel on top and plant a very tough plant with a strong root system weaved through the eggcrate it might work.l
