those are super beautiful fish. I think this fish will be getting very popular in the next year.
Herichthys Pantepec/turquoise?

I've been keeping this fish for years and had the only strain of them for a long time. Typical Herichthys behavior, bloat easily when small. I fed mine a veggie based diet. Another board member has several of the ones I had. Great looking fish. Those are some great pics!
thanks for all the advice guys i did end up ordering from ira but i went with the carpinte vontehillos instead of the turquoise, i guess they will just have to wait until i get another tank lol
Like most Herichthys they are very susceptible to septicemia. Had 7 out of 8 original make it two years then lost two big females to septicemia before I even realized something was wrong. Fish Zole works well on it if you catch in time. Had a male display red sore under raised scales and it knocked it right out.
