Easy to breed, they just cannot SUCCESSFULLY breed (with something that's not the same species) with anything except possibly closely related species (to my knowledge).

I've seen a 'Sevict' a cross between a Rotkeil Severum and a Striped Convict also seen a Rotkeil Severum cross with a Green Severum but thats it.

My red sev(male) and green sev(female) have spawned a bunch of times, but they never got past wrigglers. I've heard Reds are sterile or near sterile.

I still want to see documented proof of the severum and convict spawning. Otherwise I don't believe it.

It's my friends fish, she posts on fishforums called Star4 and shes got proof on that site, go register and check her thread out.
