If you are skeptical, go hunt out Star4 on fish forums, shes stuck with the fish and will sell it to you, shes had it up for sale for ages and it came from a tank were she had 5 Rotkeils and a few convicts, she has pictures of the parents guarding the eggs etc, i'm banned from there now so you'll have to go there yourself.
I never believed her at first either but you can clearly see from the pic its a cross of the 2.
