the pbass wasnt swimming very fast and seemed pretty stressed, so she was able grab it when it was near the surface and just gently pulled the con out through the gill. there wasnt even any thrashing or splashing, the pbass was let go and slowly swam away. it's back to it's old self now and the con is in a 30gal. tank. it's actually a hybrid convict/flowerhorn

the con was about 2.5 inches. it was fairly deep in the body. he's a crapper too. half convict, half flowerhorn
