Definitely not a "Het Russo"
Don't confuse what they call "Het Russo's" or "Het Ivory's" with the lingo in describing heterozygous carriers for recessive traits.
Het Ivory, or more commonly referred to as "Yellowbelly", is a CO-DOMINANT trait where the heterozygous carriers of the gene show a distinctly different pattern and coloration than normal. Yellowbellies are VERY obvious when you know what you're looking for. If you get a chance to look an adult or juvi in person, do it, and you'll understand what I mean. Just looking at pictures on the internet doesn't really clear it up.
Same goes with Het Russo's. I believe that Fire's and Het Russos are the same thing. The problem is that contrary to what the big breeders working with these mutations would like you to think, Fire and Het Russo's DO NOT make a clean white snake. Big breeders over the past few years that have tried to sell Fires and Het Russos want everyone to think otherwise, but the adult Fire and Russo Leucy's have yellow splotches all over them. Oops! Cat's out the bag now!
If you want to produce a clean, totally white snake, you're only real choice is to go with the Lesser Platinums. Lesser x Lesser Leucy's don't have any of the yellow or gray splotching that the Ivories, het Russo, and Super Fire Leucistic snakes have.
So called "reputable" breeders have even gone as far as to photoshop the gray and yellow splotches out of photos that they've posted online.
In any event, Jessica, that's a nice normal you've got there and if you're trying to breed balls, even normal females are worth their weight in gold. Congrats.
