thanks for all the comments guys, yea when the time comes to do something, something will be done...probably thinning the shoal first, then bigger tank, maybe get different smaller for life plecos.

This is a bit of an exaggeration, so many reds in aquariums can hardly reach 10". If you have them in a 125 it will take some time to grow them out.
If you are keeping them in a 125 be sure to get some nice filtration.

awesome, i figured ittl take a while, i plan on getting a new tank for them within a year for sure, then doing maybe a rhom tank 55-75g and a seprate maybe 30-55g tropical cohab?
but well see how the pages turn...

You're right, that many RBP's will fail to reach full adult size when kept in sub-standard conditions. This is called stunting and it ought to be against the law. If you want a shoal of stunted RBP's then follow this guys advice.

I know its a heated debate, and I feel everyone should provide the fish the best possible conditions for the fish, however that line is cloudy.
^ yea i agree, im keeping track of any water parameter issues and if any problems ever come uo then i will take care of them, as long as there happy im happy...
