Wow!!! I'm all late getting on this thread!!! Welcome back bruddah!! Dope pics!! What was the tattooing like in Japan? Quick question bra, who you tattoo wit in Hawaii? You know Bong and them guys from island tattoo?

I am actually on the big island working out of Eastern Classic's Body Art Tattoo. I know of Bong and those guys from tattoo crew...I talk to them on myspace sometimes. My buddy I grew up with in Cali (Bay Area) owns " Soul Signature's" and works with Lucky guy's....anyhow they all know each other. Personally I wouldnt get a moko ony my face but...I tattooed a few on some tongan's and people from New Zealand.

Tattooing in Japan is awesome, people are so polite and everyone is super good.....It was an honor to work there and I plan on going back once a year.:D

Bong did a lot of my work. Small world! They all come down for the convention here in Seattle. I agree with you, I personally wouldn't get stuff on my face, but those guys are all about it!!!

I hear Japan is dope. I'd love to embrace the hip hop and tattoo scene there.

Tattoo scene is scarce and underground there. Yakuza infeulence is huge even though it is minor. I used to be a b-boy...used to rock in TM aka Trade Mark or True Move....then went and B-Boy with Head Hunterz Crew from the bay area.....chilled in Vegas and what not's......know a bunch of those b-boy from thE SPOT.
 
I think i's good of you to realize your aro will be happier in his bigger tank. ( he's obviously being WELL taken care of!) What do you plan to put in your new 180?

www.yellowblaze.net this is Shige's web page... he is awesome at modern japanese tattoo arts.....or check out horiyoshi 3 for the roots of what a traditional japanese tattoo is.
