Just wondering why you are going to do all this work for a 10 gallon tank, I would try and get something bigger if you are going to build stand, not sure about where you live but 55 gallons are cheap on the classifieds. your stand design would work better on the 55

That is a good point and I have found 10g tanks are more work to look after then a 55g
 
smaller the house the quicker it gets messy.

I have no other place then in my bedroom or my garage

i could get myself a 65 gallon tank for €142,95 it is 100x50x50 cm ( i live in europe )
and make a stand from 2x4's like uarujoey did in one of his video's
And make a filter from pvc and daisy chain 2 a 3 together
