i live in omaha nebraska but it is close enough to iowa. and there are not many people posting that are from nebraska either.
nice bullhead. what kind is it? that common pleco looks so much different from mine.
i have a yellow bullhead and a common pleco too. the bullhead is not that big only 4 inches but he is growing really fast, in july i got it at 1 inch. i bought my pleco at a petsmart near my house at 2 inches back in March 2009 now he is about 8 inches long and still growing fast. i have a 30 gallon tank and all of the fish in that tank seem to grow extremely fast. the other fish in the tank are: 3 breeding platies (1 male, 2 females), 1 peppered cory catfish, a 4 inch rainbow shark, and a 4 inch giant danio.
well thanks to my friend, my tank cant become overstocked as easy. since my fish grow so fast. i have given him in the last 6 months the following fish that all of them were about 1-3 inches when i got them. i gave him a 4 inch green sunfish, 6 bluegill about 1-3 inches long, 2 4-5 inch red-tailed tinfoil barbs, and 1 6 inch koi. his tank now has all of those fish plus his one fish that is still alive, a yellow gourami.
