That sounds kool, I'd like to have a crappie in my tank but I think I'm just going to add more bluegill. I tried using feeders but I don't know if the bluegill ate any and I've yet to try bloodworms.warmouth;3937636;3937636 said:Awesome , Ive had greensunnies before and fed them bloodworms, feeders and crickets, but I am going to make a species tank of longear as soon as I can go dipnet some.
Bloodworms bring out the color in sunfish, on feeders you might want to try the small rosie reds, Bluegills have small mouths for their size; and Im real sorry about your bullhead....theres noway I wouldve guessed that would have happenedKittyKatFish100;3938559;3938559 said:That sounds kool, I'd like to have a crappie in my tank but I think I'm just going to add more bluegill. I told a friend about your pleco killing your bullhead, and he told me he had a pleco that would sometimes attack his bala sharks......I wouldve honestly never known, maybe they get territorial the bigger the size they attain?!?warmouth;3960087;3960087 said:Bloodworms bring out the color in sunfish, on feeders you might want to try the small rosie reds, Bluegills have small mouths for their size; and Im real sorry about your bullhead....theres noway I wouldve guessed that would have happened.
