That sounds kool, I'd like to have a crappie in my tank but I think I'm just going to add more bluegill. I tried using feeders but I don't know if the bluegill ate any and I've yet to try bloodworms.

sorry for the loss.

any idea what happened?

Sorry for your loss. He looked like a awesome bullhead. Heres a pic of my 20" albino channel

My pleco killed him... In a way it's ironic because everyone said make sure the catfish can't eat it and it ended up eating the catfish... Nice cat mqktandy

thanks...Wait..ur pleco ate ur catfish! never heard of that happening...how big was he?

Pleco was 11 inches long and he didn't really eat him, he just ate off of him and none of the meds I used to replace his slimecoat worked...

Bloodworms bring out the color in sunfish, on feeders you might want to try the small rosie reds, Bluegills have small mouths for their size; and Im real sorry about your bullhead....theres noway I wouldve guessed that would have happened .

I told a friend about your pleco killing your bullhead, and he told me he had a pleco that would sometimes attack his bala sharks......I wouldve honestly never known, maybe they get territorial the bigger the size they attain?!?
