Haha yea sorry about that.... But i just bought one of my tinfoil barbs and my fluval fx5 at Texas tropicals last week as a matter of fact. Got the barb for $5 and the fx5 for 249.99 which i think is a pretty good deal.

lol I just drove from here to new Orleans (long story) but yea I don't mind driving lol im pretty good at it. Used to drive from VA to MO all the time!

Well it's sounding like theres going to be a very large difference in age's, and from the looks of it we all wanna see the lfs ... so an idea would be to meet at one a take it from there..besides there so many you couldn't see them in a day. if we had a number on the possible turn out

Right on man you really are just around the corner thats cool. I'll have to check out Dave's Rare fish sometime. I've been to alamo aquatics and also texas tropicals both off i-10, they are pretty good places to check out with decent prices. My current setup is a 215 Oceanic RR tank that i converted over to freshwater. I have 5 tinfoil barbs, 2 bala sharks, a nice size 4 line cat, a small arowana, and a common pleco in there right now, but looking for maybe one more fish. any ideas?????

I like Fintique...but got my setup from TX tropical, and they are a good group. TX Trop does have a "want list" for people looking for specific species. ie. I'm looking for a german red cichlid....

new to this, just wanted to know how often these meet ups happen? specifically the Houston ones
